Themes

After a HUGE success in my last contest, Take something simple and make it beautiful … , I decided to create a new contest … but …. I couldn’t decide on just one theme so I just had to choose both! Deviants can choose their own theme from the two below and enter in that particular category (or you can even enter in both if you wish)!

Musicality
Anything and everything dealing with MUSIC !! You can interpret it as literally as an iPod, a music note, or an instrument. Or you can interpret it more figuratively, possibly through literature. It’s up to you! Take this theme and interpret it however you want! This particular theme is open to: all mediums !

Picturesque Portraiture
This theme is a tad bit more specific. You can interpret it in any way as you like, again. BUT, it must have something to do with the human face/portrait/profile. Whether it be a beautiful photograph, digital rendering, or traditional sketch, take this theme any way you wish. This theme is open to: photography, digital art, and traditional art !

Rules

I want to keep this contest fun and enjoyable, so I don't want these rules to put chains around you or your entries. However, please respect and follow them so that the contest can be just as fun for other deviants and the judges!

You must me in order to enter, if you haven’t already!
Maximum of two entries in each category per deviant. (That is a total of two entries in each category for each deviant. You may NOT submit more than 2 in each category. You cannot submit 3 in one category and 1 in the other category.)
No mature content please. That's nothing with a mature content filter and nothing which should have a mature content filter but doesn't have one for some reason. This includes but is not limited to pornography, hentai, intense horror, self harm, racism, anything else offensive and/or against deviantART's policy. I made this rule so that everybody can enter and view the entries, not just 18+ people.
The deviation must already be in your deviantART gallery at the time you submit your entry. So don't submit literature entries as text in the note or host it on another website and link it here.
The entries must be NEW , that is made on or submitted on/after October 12th
Donators are allowed to enter.

How to Enter

To enter, send me a note with subject line "Contest Entry" (or something along those lines). Include a thumb or link of your entry(ies) and which category you wish to enter in.

If you don't tell me which category you're entering in, your entry won't be accepted.
